Columbia (Sony) issued the Woodstock Experience from Janis Joplin and the Kozmic Blues Band in 2009 as part of a re-release series of some Woodstock acts. As usual, the first CD contains the original album, while the second CD has the Woodstock gig.
Janis' Woodstock performance has been released before (see At Woodstock) and actually there is nothing new here, except for a slightly better fidelity. The second disc runs 6 seconds longer than At Woodstock, while the original soundboard recording clocks in at 62:16, including the Chip Monck introduction.
